The Kid Komedy Foundation was a stand-up comedy and self-esteem program for kids ages 8-12 in Atlanta. Kids comedy classes and after school programs, summer kids comedy camps, and performing arts comedy workshops are offered for aspiring comedian boys and girls.
Courses conclude with a “Graduation Show” featuring the kids comedy routines, LIVE on stage! Children learn to write jokes, delivery and timing, stage presence, how to use humor to cope with stress, and boost their self-confidence and poise for public speaking. Our kids comedy programs also serve to deter alcohol and drug abuse and aid in violence prevention. A non profit, 501 (c) (3), the Foundation is funded via public grants and tax deductible donations from corporations and individual donors.
